History

Moema Brasil was founded by CEO and Creative Director Pauline Vieira, who has over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. Pauline has worked in product creation and development for major brands and managed her own beachwear and lingerie business for 7 years. Her involvement in training workshops for artisans further enriched her expertise, making Moema Brasil an extension of this vast experience.

After living in Canada, Pauline founded Moema Brasil in the post-pandemic period. Today, the brand showcases the work of artisans worldwide, contributing to the expansion of the Brazilian fashion market.

"I faced a lot of resistance, especially from artisans who told me I would never be able to standardize production. But having already worked with artisan groups in social design projects, I knew it was possible and did not give up. I could see beyond and already had clients interested in acquiring our services."

Pauline Vieira - CEO and Creative Director

Brazil has over 2 million artisans, and Moema Brasil's business depends entirely on people, allowing for constant expansion. Currently, we have 100 trained artisans available in the team, with a capacity to produce 1000 pieces per month. Our goal is to reach 250 artisans by 2026, as there is already a waiting list for training.

Today, Moema Brasil serves clients from various niches in Brazil, Australia, Canada, the United States, and Europe. In addition to our social commitment, we also have a strong commitment to sustainability, using sustainable materials and artisanal production that generates no waste and uses no electricity.
